There are a lot of reasons for this in this market.
Positions are put on hold.
Hiring freezes.
Budgets get reallocated.
Requirement for the role changes.
Not qualified for the position.
Bad hiring managers.
Hiring managers not knowing the product manager they want or need on their team.
Market conditions.
Is the shot gun approach better or should you take the more targeted approach?
My answer is both!
Divided up your day to do both and time block your calendar for maximum efficiency.

I also created a mini course showing Product Managers how to revamp their own resumes themselves, identify the right hiring managers on LinkedIn, and craft the types of LinkedIn messages Dennis used to convert interviews. The program is only $27 a month and I am currently working on creating an Airtable for hiring partnerships.

In this market speed to lead is the most important thing.
